I am so happy to have been asked to accompany the wonderful poet and scholar, Mark Burrows, in this celebration of the poet Romantic poet, Rainer Maria Rilke. Rilke’s Sonnet’s To Orpheus were the first poems I was attracted to, at the age of fourteen. I still have my well worn paperback from 1968.

This event will take place in Follen Church, in Lexington, Massachusetts, where Ralph Waldo Emerson spoke for many years.
